The Oscilloscope Current Probe measures the magnetic field generated by electrons moving inside a wire. Within the range specifications of the current probe, the magnetic flux field around the wire is converted into a linear voltage output, which can be displayed and analyzed on an oscilloscope or other measuring instruments.
